This elegant property, located on the highly sought-after Park Town in Oxford, underwent a full and considered remodel. Following the successful acquisition of planning permission for works to this Grade II listed building, we began a comprehensive transformation.

The client appointed us to install two new dormer windows to the front elevation and a single roof light to the rear, enhancing natural light throughout the upper levels. On the second floor, the layout was fully reconfigured to accommodate a new, modern bathroom.

The ground floor received a complete redesign, with a focus on opening up the reception rooms and introducing a new Orangery to maximise space.

Significant works were also undertaken on the lower ground floor. This included the removal of existing vaults and cellars, the installation of a new staircase, and the construction of a 10,000-bottle wine cellar and a utility room beneath the terrace and garden. A new lightwell and stair access to the garden were added, along with new double-glazed windows throughout the lower ground level.

Externally, we carried out careful restoration works to ensure the property remained in keeping with the architectural character of the surrounding area, preserving its heritage while delivering modern functionality.
